About me

I was born in 1973, in Cluj Napoca, Romania. I lived there until 2004, when I moved to Bucharest to work as a radio DJ for National FM radio station.

Radio took up the last 10 years of my life. Nevertheless, lately, I‘ve been drawn to other domains, too. And this is only because I ‘m in the habit of doing only what I really like. So, I got closer to web design & web programming. My work is listed under the Services section. Have a look there to see the sites I built.

I am now project manager for bestmusic.

I am pretty much into photography, too. This photoblog is the living proof.

Besides this, mountain – that includes mountain bike too, music & films are the other pleasures in my life.

About ‘Photos with memories’

I’ve started this photoblog for several reasons.

First of all, because I love taking pictures. At least one weekly update motivates and determines me to come with better and better pictures.

One more thing: I forget things, people, events. Of the things I go through, I only remember mere feelings, vibrations or bits of atmosphere. These photos are sort of my diary … refreshing my memories.

About my equipment

I am the proud owner of a Nikon D70 camera (thanks, Pepi). From june 2007 I use a Nikon D200 (the most affordable serious upgrade to D70).

Most often, I use the Nikon 50mm, f1.4, Sigma 18-50, f2.8, Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX HSM lens and Nikon SB 600 flash. .

Some of the images on this photoblog were taken with a Pentax Z1 – excellent camera on film. But as this was quite an old model, it now rests quietly on a shelf at home.
